Who Should Attend?

Basics is for a conference for men in ministry. It is designed for pastors, missionaries, evangelists, elders, and others in Christian leadership or training for ministry. The conference aims to nurture male friendships and camaraderie, and for this reason, wives are not encouraged to attend.

Can my wife attend the conference with me

We are purposeful in limiting the conference to men who serve as pastors and Christian workers. We realize that this is disappointing to some and appreciate your understanding. Unfortunately, no, Basics is a conference for men only.

Are meals and hotel costs included in my registration?  

Meals during the conference are included with your registration. Lodging is not included in registration. You can find more information about hotels here.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?  

We understand that plans can change! You may cancel your tickets and receive a full refund through September 22. 

To request a cancellation and refund, please email basics@truthforlife.org. Be sure to include: 

• your full name 

• the email address used during registration 

• the phone number associated with your registration 

Once your cancellation is processed, you’ll receive an email confirming that your ticket has been canceled and that a full refund has been issued to the credit card used at registration. 

Important: Tickets are not transferable.

Will the conference be streamed live?

This year, the conference will not be live streamed. The sessions will be recorded and published shortly afterward on the Truth For Life website and in the Basics archive.

Can I obtain a recording of the conference for this year or past years?

Yes! All of the speaker sessions for past conferences going back to 2002 (and, once they’re published, the sessions for 2026) can be viewed or heard on the Truth For Life website and in the Basics archive.
